Markings: The barrel is marked, “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 HBAR”. The right side of the gas block is marked, “F B1 10”. The front sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow above it. The rear sight is marked “UP” with a left-pointing arrow and “DN” with a right-pointing arrow. The left side of the lower is marked with the Colt horse and logo, “SPORTER MATCH HBAR CAL .223 SER. MH065094” and also “COLT’S MFG. CO. INC. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A.” “SAFE” and “FIRE”. Right side of the hammer is marked with an “S” stamp and the auto sear is marked “COLT”. The pistol grip is marked, “STOWAWAY 2” ™ PAT PENDING” on the right side and “LONE STAR ORDNANCE SAN ANTONIO, TX” on the left side.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle is equipped with a standard A2 fixed stock, pistol grip and ribbed full length front handguard. Some wear on the surface of the buttstock with a few scuff marks and scratches. The Bolt has a “C” stamp on the side and its CMP mark on the bolt head. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttstock. The stock rates in about Very Good-Fine overall condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
