Markings: Left side of receiver marked “COLT AR-15 CAL. .223 MODEL SP1 SER. SP48785” with the Rampant Colt logo. Marked on left side receiver behind bolt catch “COLT’S PATENT FIREARMS HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. MFG.CO” and marked with “SAFE” and “FIRE” around the safety selector. Top of barrel stamped “C MP CHROME BORE”. Bottom of one magazine marked “CAL. 5.56 MM COLT’S FIREARMS DIVISION COLT INDUSTRIES HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”. The side of the BCG has a “C” stamp and the Bolt Neck is marked “MPC”. The right side of the gas block has a C and a Bell forge mark.
Barrel Length: 20″, 21” with Birdcage flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is post iron sight and the rear has an iron peep sight. A1 rear sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is synthetic with a triangular handguard/forearm and no case deflector. Checkered synthetic pistol grips. There is some general wear along the surface of the handguard and fixed A1 buttstock. The LOP measures 12.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fixed buttstock. The stock rates in Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is minimal to no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal wear around the ejection port and magazine release button. The screw heads are sharp, the pins are unmarred, and the markings are clear. Overall, this preban rifle rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
