Office Administrative Associate, Dispositions

SUMMARY: The Office Administration Associate for Dispositions performs administrative functions for the Office Manager. With guidance from the Manager, facilitates the efficient operation of the department by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The successful individual will demonstrate strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, computer skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers phone calls and transfers calls to appropriate individuals as needed.
- Maintains filing systems as assigned.
- Handles past due accounts and contacts customers regarding collection accounts.
- Retrieves information as requested from records, email, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Firearms knowledge and auction experience desired but not required.
- Ability to work effectively with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers in a calm manner.
- Ability to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through on tasks and problem solve with minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
- Able to work in a busy environment.
- Must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google WorkStation.
- Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of LSB.
- Must have valid CA drivers’ license, clean DMV, and criminal record clearance from DOJ.
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 1 – 2 years of related work experience preferred but not required. A High School Diploma and/or an Associates Degree and 3 to 5 years of related work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position will be considered.

HOURS of EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full time position. A 40 hour work week schedule will be established on consultation with the supervisor, evening and weekend hours may apply. The normal work week is Monday – Friday. Hours of work will be established between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Occasional Sunday evenings may be required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary depends on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, and a 401(k).
Salary Grade: 12 Salary Range: $18.08 – $22.60 – $27.12
