Premier West Coast on-line auction house is seeking to hire a Logistics Clerk for our Logistics department. This is an in-house position and must work onsite.

SUMMARY: The Logistics Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing the daily inventory management and logistics functions under the direction of the Logistics Manager. The position works to locate inventory and transport it to the shipping department. The position requires the individual to be detailed oriented, organized, reliable, willing to work in a fast paced environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Unpacks, verifies and records incoming product, i.e. firearms, military memorabilia, and eBay items.
  • Verifies inventory quantities.
  • Assists in unloading delivery trucks.
  • Transports inventory by hand or with a hand truck.
  • Updates the product inventory as products are received and added to inventory.
  • Performs clerical duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties that pertain to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Firearms knowledge and auction experience desired but not required.
  • Must have the ability to handle physical workload.
  • Ability to work effectively with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through on tasks and problem solve with minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work in a busy environment.
  • Must be able to work on-site.
  • Must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity.
  • Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of LSB.
  • Must have valid CA drivers’ license, clean DMV record, and criminal record clearance from the Department of Justice.

HOURS of EMPLOYMENT:

This is a part time position. A 20 hour work week schedule will be established in consultation with the supervisor. The normal work week is Monday – Friday. The work schedule will be established between the hours of 6:30am and 10:30am.

 COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary depends on experience. There are no benefits associated with this position.
