SUMMARY: The General Operations Associate is an entry level position with responsibility for assisting all departments within the organization. Under general supervision, performs a variety of general operational tasks to ensure deadlines are met, inventory is moved through the various departments, customer orders are processed and shipped in a timely manner. The successful candidates will be detailed oriented, organized, reliable, willing to work in a fast paced environment, possess organizational and administrative skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support to Logistics, Dispositions, Photography, Writing and Receiving departments.
  • Supports departments by providing work such as copying, filing, proofreading, sorting, answering phones, data entry, filing and typing.
  • Other duties may be required relevant to the position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Firearms knowledge and auction experience desired but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through on tasks and problem solve with minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Good verbal/written communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Must be able to work on-site.
  • Must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google WorkStation.
  • Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of LSB and work in a manner consistent with the LSB core values.
  • Must have valid CA drivers’ license, clean DMV, and criminal record clearance from DOJ and be at least 18 years of age.
  • A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of related work experience preferred.

HOURS of EMPLOYMENT:

We have part time and full time positions. A work week schedule will be established in consultation with the supervisor, evening and weekend hours may apply. The normal work week is Monday – Friday. An hourly schedule will be established between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Overtime may be required on occasion. Hours are flexible.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary depends on experience. Full time positions offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

Salary Grade: 10; Range: $15.50 – $19.38 – $23.25
