SUMMARY: The Consignor Liaison is an non-exempt position and reports directly to the Office Manager and is responsible for conducting all consignor needs, including but not limited to:
QuickBooks, emailing links, responding to website email, mailing/delivering consignor checks & answering phone calls. The Consignor Liaison will also assist the Intake Manager and the Logistics Associate(s) with Intake related tasks. To be successful in this position, the individual will possess strong leadership, communication, organizational and analytical skills and have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a timely manner in a fast paced environment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enters customers, vendors, sales receipts, invoices, payments and checks in Quickbooks
- Enters all consignor information. Assigns auction number and commission, firearms-specific number, make, model, serial number and caliber.
- Regularly communicates with consignor regarding updates to their auction, the auction links, closing of auctions, updates on payment dates and address any questions or concerns the consignor may have.
- Manages auction sizes to ensure auctions are the appropriate size.
- Compiles summary settlement reports for each consignor after each auction. Sends a profit and loss report and a commission report to the CEO.
- Manages relists and returns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Firearms knowledge required. Auction experience preferred. Firearms transfers and ATF regulations experience highly desired.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Google WorkStation.
- Experience in QuickBooks, or other software applications helpful.
- Experience in compliance, logistics, professional writing, customer service, acquisitions, dispositions, and on-line auctions desired.
- Ability to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through on tasks and problem solve with minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, under pressure, without compromising accuracy, attention to detail or courtesy to staff and others.
- Be able to demonstrate mature judgment, initiative and critical thinking.
- Have the ability to demonstrate leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must have respect for confidentiality; ability to work with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of LSB.
- Must have valid CA drivers’ license, clean DMV, and the ability to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the California Department of Justice.

HOURS of EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full time position. A 40 hour work week schedule will be established on consultation with the supervisor, evening and weekend hours may apply. The normal work week is Monday–Friday. Normal hours of work will be established between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Some Sunday evening hours may apply.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary depends on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, and a 401(k).
