Our Assessment: The Browning Hi-Power is a single-action, semi-automatic handgun. It was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. FN Herstal initially named the design the “High Power”, which alludes to the 13-round magazine capacity, almost twice that of other designs at the time, such as the Luger or Colt M1911. This is a Browning Hi-Power that was made by FN in Belgium in 1968 . It is a “T-Series” Hi-Power, with the serial prefix used only from late 1964 until 1969. This pistol is equipped with tangent sights making this a highly desirable collection piece. The pistol is in Fine condition with about 95% of its metal finish, a great bore and strong mechanics. It comes with a black Browning zipper case and a single 13-round magazine. Between being a T-series and this pistol’s high condition, this will make a great addition to any collection and could still serve as a great shooter, today. Please see our photos and good luck!
