Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “TR SPECIAL” and with a Thunder Ranch lightning bolt and shield logo, the left is marked “BAER / Custom”. The left of the frame is marked “LES BAER CUSTOM / HILLSDALE IL USA / TR00871”. The top of the chamber is marked “BAER 45 MATCH”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a tritium lamp dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a Novak-style square notch with two tritium lamps dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The lamps have dimmed, but are still useable in low-no light environments.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood with double diamonds with Thunder Ranch logos. The checkering has a flat finish from the factory. There are some scattered little marks, minor scratches, and light nicks. There are some scattered light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is strong. Overall, the grips are in about Fine Plus condition.
Type of Finish: Polished blue on the side facing surfaces, matte blue on top, bottom, front, and rear surfaces.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. There are some scattered little scuffs and minor marks. There is some finish loss on the edges. There are some scattered minor marks. There is a ding on the rear sight. There is some finish wear on the controls. There is standard operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide-to-frame fit shows virtually no play. The trigger is light and crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The gun comes with a total of one 7-round stainless magazine with plastic extended floorplate.
