Our Assessment: On offer here is a Beretta Gold Rush pump-action rifle—or perhaps it’s better to say a Beretta Holding S.p.A. Gold Rush as it was actually manufactured by Uberti and imported by Beretta during the period between 2005 and 2008. Patterned after the Colt Lightning rifle, the Gold Rush differs mainly in its modernized feeding system. This example was produced in 2006 and still looks new. The finish is rich, the bore is clean. Rifle patterns like these persist not simply because of a fascination with the past or some longing nostalgia, but also because they work, and well, they look cool. A vintage firearms collector could do a lot worse than to add this range-ready rifle to their collection. Good luck and happy bidding!
