Markings: The underside of the barrel is marked “IMP’D BY STOEGER INC. N.J.”. The right side of the barrel is marked “SAKO CAL. 6.5×55 SE” and “MADE IN FINLAND” along with a Finnish proof mark. The right side of the receiver is marked “SAKO AV LH”, with the serial number, “634433” and with a Finnish proof marks. The bottom of the bolt handle is hand scribed “433”.

Sights/Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights on this rifle. The receiver is grooved for the attached 1” optic rings (no optics is included).

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered wood with pistol grip, fluted Monte Carlo comb with left hand oriented cheek-piece, and an orange leather buttpad. The cheek piece has a few light nicks and one more notable compression. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14” from the trigger to the buttpad. The recoil pad is still soft. Overall, the stock rates in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 94% of its metal finish. There is some light-to-moderate scuff wear roughly 3” up the barrel on the top. The blued surfaces of the bolt have taken on a light plum hue. The screw heads show light use with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good-to-Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
