Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “EMP / CAL 9mm”. The right side of the slide is marked “EMP” behind the serrations and “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” in front. The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC / GENESEO IL USA / EMP 7042”. The barrel is marked “S.A. 9MM”.

Sights / Optics: The pistol is mounted with Trijicon night sights. The front sight has a single tritium lamp in the face of its serrated blade, dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight has two tritium lamps to either side of a square-notch Novak-style base dovetailed to the rear of the slide and fixed with a set-screw. The lamps have dimmed lightly but still produce a strong glow and are easily acquired in low to no light environments.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are double diamond checkered cocobolo panels with crossed cannon logos. There are some light marks on the bottoms. There are light handling marks. The checkering is strong. The grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a light mark on the left side of the frame, otherwise there is only light handling and operational wear. There is some thinning on the edges of the rear sight and standrad operational wear. The screw heads are unmarred. The markings are clear and crisp. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. The slide to frame fit is snug. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a serial matching blue hard case, 11 Gear holster, 11 Gear dual magazine belt slider, paperwork including the manual, and three 9 round magazines. The 11 Gear accessories have some light marks, in about Fine Plus condition. The magazines have some light wear from use, in about Fine Plus condition. The case has some light marks to the exterior, a tear to one of the foam liners, and one of the interior edges is bent inwards, in about Very Good-Fine codnition.
Our Assessment: This is a Springfield Armory EMP pistol in 9mm that is based on the venerable 1911. The Enhanced Micro Pistol, however is not just another 1911. It is smaller, slimmer, has a lighter alloy frame, match-grade bull barrel and night sights. This would make a great concealed carry or home defense pistol. Ammunition is, usually, easy to find and afford and there are a plethora of loads available for both practice and defense. The trigger is far nicer than most pistols this size and will help you get the most out of its quality barrel. This pistol is in about Excellent condition with little sign of use, if any, and comes with just about everything it did brand-new. Please see our photos and good luck!
