Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “EMP / CAL 9mm”. The right side of the slide is marked “EMP” behind the serrations and “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” in front. The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC / GENESEO IL USA / EMP 78379”. The barrel is marked “S.A. 9MM”.

Sights / Optics: The pistol is mounted with Trijicon night sights. The front sight has a single tritium lamp in the face of its serrated blade, dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight has two tritium lamps to either side of a square-notch Novak-style base dovetailed to the rear of the slide and fixed with a set-screw. The lamps are bright and easily acquired in low-light environments.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered rosewood panels with Springfield Armory’s crossed-cannon logo in the center and smooth diamonds around the grip screws. The grips have no notable wear or damage with only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Stainless with Black Alloy Frame

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is light handling and operational wear. The screw heads are unmarred. The markings are clear and crisp. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. The slide to frame fit is snug. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a serial matching small gray hard case, large unlabeled grey Springfield hard case, black nylon Springfield soft case, left handed black nylon IWB clip holster, paperwork including the manual, seven 9 round magazines, and a Pachmayr grip sleeve all in about Excellent condition.
