Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “Kimber”. The right side of the slide is marked “PRO CARRY HD II”. The right side of the frame is marked “KIMBER MFG / KRF16793” and “YONKERS NY USA”. The top of the chamber is marked “.38 SUPER”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a tritium insert and is dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a serrated lo-mount style square notch with two tritium inserts and is dovetailed to the rear of the slide and further secured with a set screw. The lamps are bright and easily acquired in low to no light.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are double-diamond checkered black rubber panels. There are a couple of light marks on the smooth diamonds. The checkering is intact and strong. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The rifling is sharp and the bore is bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is a spot of minor discoloration on the right of the frame by the hammer pin. There are a few faint rubs, most noticeable on the left of the slide. There is a faint takedown mark on the left side of the frame. The markings are clear. The screw heads are undamaged. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit shows barely perceptible play. The trigger is crisp. We have not test fire his gun. As with all used firearms a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Box & Accessories: This pistol comes with a pair of 9-round Kimber magazines, paperwork including the manual, and a serial matching hard case. The magazines have some light wear from use and rate in about Fine Plus condition.
Our Assessment: For 40 years, Kimber has been producing some of the finest 1911-style pistols in America and this is no exception. This particular pistol comes packed with features such as rear slide serrations, extended beavertail grip safety, full-length stainless guide-rod, skeletonized hammer and trigger, checkered mainspring housing, and of course, Kimber quality. This example is in Fine Plus condition showing signs of light use and comes with two magazines. This is a beautiful gun in high condition and would make an excellent addition to any collection, but where it will really shine is in your holster for carry. Please see our photos and good luck!
