Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a serrated rear face and is dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square-notch target sight with a serrated rear face; it is dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The Hogue grips are textured black rubber with finger grooves. There are some scattered light scuffs and rubs. There is some light wear to the texturing. Overall, the grips rate in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The edges have some light thinning. There are a couple scattered nicks and hairline scratches, most noticeable on the left side of the slide at the rear serrations. There is a light mark into the finish on the left side of the frame from takedown. There is some thinning on the controls. There is operational wear on the barrel. The grip screws have light wear. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide to frame fit shows very light movement. The match grade trigger is crisp. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
Box & Accessories: This pistol comes with a Chip McCormick 8-round magazine with light operational wear in about Fine condition.
Our Assessment: For 40 years, Kimber has been producing some of the finest 1911-style pistols in America and this is no exception. The Gold Match II comes from Kimber packed with features such as front and rear slide serrations, extended beavertail grip safety, full-length stainless guide-rod, extended ambidextrous thumb-safeties, skeletonized hammer and match grade trigger, target sights, and of course, Kimber quality. This example is in Fine condition showing signs of standard use. This is a fantastic gun in high condition and would make an excellent addition to any collection, but where it will really shine is in competition shooting such as single-stack division in USPSA or your local bowling pin matches.
