Markings: The import mark under the barrel is in tiny text. It reads “LERO’ GLASGOW MT”. The top of the receiver is marked “ROSS RIFLE CO. / CANADA / M-10 / PATENTED”. The barrel shank is marked “II G”, with the serial number and with a “crossed flags / P” proof. The safety lever is marked “SAFE READY”. The right side of the bolt body is marked “crown / 9”. The underside of the bolt handle is marked “8”. The right side of the butt is marked “H.G.”. The left side of the butt is marked “NIAGARA FALLS / 12”.
Barrel Length: Approximately 30 ½ Inches
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a bladed post atop a raised base and under a protective hood. The rear sight is a “U” notched blade when down. It flips up to become a sight ladder that uses a screw adjustable “U” notched blade & aperture. The right side of the sight ladder is marked “0 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12” and the right edge is marked “0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9”.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The hardwood stock has a pistol grip, nosecap with bayonet lug, stacking rod, 3 sling loops and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage. The buttplate shows discoloration from oxidation and some light surface erosion. The barrel band and noscap show oxidation. The stock shows scrapes, scratches and compression marks. Most of these marks have been oiled over. Some of the marks have damaged small portions of the surface wood. The LOP measures 13 1/8 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright; semi bright at the muzzle. The rifling is deep. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The metal shows small scrapes, light handling marks and a few small scratches. The front sight band shows discoloration from oxidation and a small amount of light surface erosion. The front of the receiver shows a freckling of oxidation. The left front of the receiver shows some pin prick surface erosion and light horizontal scratches next to the wood. The screw heads show moderate use. The markings are deep. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with a leather sling that shows discoloration, creasing and scrapes. The interior of the sling is marked (in pen) with a numbers that do not correlate to the serial number. Overall the sling is in about Very Good Plus condition.
