The stock and sights are described below.

Barrel Length: Approximately 18 Inches

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade set between two protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight set between two protective wings. The windage knob is marked “LEFT arrow” twice and “DRC”. The elevation knob is marked from “2-12” in increments of two and “IS S” on the edge.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The hardwood stock has a pistol grip, metal nose caps, 2 sling loops, and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage in the butt. The refinished buttplate has surface eroison and scratches showing through the new finish. The wood shows scrapes and scratches. Some of these marks have damaged small portions of the surface wood. The grip area has adhesive residue on it. The LOP measures 13 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition as refurbished.

Finish Originality: Original to Conversion

Bore Condition: The lands are bright and the grooves are semi bright. The area near the muzzle is light grey. The rifling is deep. There is fouling and light erosion near the muzzle. The fouling should clean up some. The bore shows an M.E. of 1.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The receiver has oxidation showing through the new finish. The receiver also shows areas of discoloration. The finish shows several scuffs, light scrapes, and handling marks. The gas tube & trigger guard also show small scratches. The right side of the receiver & front of the bolt show some thinning consistent with cycling the action. The markings on the rear of the receiver are somewhat faded. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Plus to Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
