The stock and sights are described below.

Barrel Length: Approximately 24 Inches

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade set between two protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight set between two protective wings. The windage knob is marked “LEFT arrow” twice and “DRC”. The elevation knob is marked from “2-12” in increments of two and “NI C” on the edge.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The face of the grip is marked with a “circled P” proof. The bottom of the grip is marked an “orange triangle” Arsenal Rebuild stamping.
The hardwood stock has a pistol grip, metal nose caps, a stacking loop, two sling loops and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage in the butt. The buttplate shows small scrapes, scratches and thinning. The handguard shows a repaired crack that is missing a small piece of wood along the crack. The wood shows scarpes, scratches, and compression marks. Some of these marks have damaged small portions of the surface wood. Most of these marks have been finished over. The LOP measures 13 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition as refurbished.

Type of Finish: Parkerized

Finish Originality: Original to Rebuild

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright. The grooves near the muzzle are light grey. The rifling is deep. There is some fouling in the grooves near the muzzle that should clean up some. There is no erosion. The bore shows an M.E. of 0.8. The throat shows a T.E. of 1.5.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. The finish shows scuffs, light scrapes, and handling marks. The gas tube & trigger guard also show small scratches. The rear of the receiver shows some discoloration. The op rod shows light thinning. The right side of the receiver & front of the bolt show some thinning consistent with cycling the action. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good Plus to Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
