Markings: The import mark on the barrel reads “MDL.M59 7.62 X 39 ZASTAVA YUGO. / C.A.I. GEORGIA VT.”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “C-48205”. The left of the buttstock, bottom of the trigger guard, left of the bolt and left of the carrier are marked with the serial number. There are part numbers marked on the dust cover pin, bolt and magazine.

Barrel Length: Approximately 20 inches.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable, hooded post. The rear sight is a “U” notched sliding sight escalator marked from “1 – 10” and “I”.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece wood stock has a pistol grip, finger grooves, scallop for the safety, metal nose caps, cleaning rod, cutout for the attached folding bayonet, through bolt, sling loop and a steel butt plate with a spring loaded door for storage. The forearm has a small reinforcing bolt through it. The stocks show scattered nicks, dings, scrapes & scratches as well as some areas of discoloration. The LOP measures 12 1/2 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate has some finish wear around the edges. The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is gray with well defined rifling. There is light-moderate erosion scattered through the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. It shows scrapes, small scratches & some thinning. The barrel shows some light thinning. The receiver & bottom metal show scrapes & small scratches. The action has light operational wear. The screw heads show little use. The markings are well defined. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. The bayonet locks into place properly. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork& Accessories: There is a leather sling installed. The sling shows light-moderate wear and discoloration, in about Good condition.
